Nelvie N. Gore Primary School previously Willikies Primary School
Willikies Primary School was established in 1976 at its current location. On December 14th 2017 it was officially renamed Nelvie N. Gore Primary after a stalwart principal who served the school in this capacity for thirteen years and spent all her teaching career of 42 years at the school. This change was recommended by the Willikies Community Group.
Mission: "To prepare well-rounded individuals for life and not just for exams, while upgrading our students' performances and our school facilities."
Vision: "To improve Nelvie N. Gore Primary's education system, so that it is widely acknowledged as one of the best in the country by 2025."
Motto: "Perseverance is the key to success. We inspire our students and staff to try repeatedly until they have overcome challenges."
